I left a balled up piece of toilet paper inside my vagina?

for at least a week. i couldn't figure out why i smelt SO horrible for so long i just found it and took it out it was dark grey and i have pain in my uterus vaginal area and i have felt sick for a couple days. should i seek medical attention.
