Does hyper-thyroid, and gastronial ulcers have any relation to post tramatic stress disorder?

I have had a thyroidindectomy and have been diagnosed with chronic ulcers( peptic and gastronial) and am a post vietnam era vet ( cold war ). But still faced situations under fire from terrorist,on and off duty in Germany. Was a cryptographic operater with a the clearances in very secluded area. Stress, stress stress. I Am presently seeking care thru Veterans Administration.
