Belly piercing question? ? ?

About a year ago I got my belly peirced but about 2 months later i took it out as the piercing got infected, however I did have it done in 2008, it lasted 5 months before my cousin tugged on it in a pool and it ripped out leaving a small scar. I'm thinking about getting it re done this summer. I just need some advice about how to not get infected and avoid rejection and stuff :)
